Longest Day EVER

I cannot believe it's only Monday. It seems like ages ago that I drank my morning latte...

I also feel very homesick today for some reason, which is weird because I talked to a guy I met several weeks ago on the shuttle this morning and we both remembered each other, I saw people from work I knew at the gym (I usually get really excited when I run into people I know because it doesn't happen much up here), and the instructor of our weight training class asked my (by name!) why I wasn't standing in my usual spot. All of these incidents would normally make me start to feel like I'm getting in a routine, but instead I am missing home.

My best friend moved back to school this weekend to begin classes towards her masters. This has had me thinking about the different directions our lives are taking. It is so weird that campus is full of students again, sorority recruitment is over, and everyone is getting used to their new class schedule...and I will never go through that again. I miss it so much.

At least I am now getting a paycheck...and this week is payday! Hopefully the rest of this week doesn't drag on like today did...only 4 more days until the weekend ;)
